Founder Jennifer Davidson
Jennifer Davidson is founder of Reality Check Coaching LLC where she brings together coaching and her more than 5 years experience in corporate training and leadership development. Leveraging her experience as a leader, she was appointed the Hub Leader for the GE Women’s Network of Oregon & SW Washington. Jennifer has designed her coaching practice with an emphasis on empowering others to reach their full potential. In addition, she has partnered with the award-winning and nationally recognized venture Respect Rx, to provide coaching-based personal development programs for young women and girl advocates.
Jennifer’s approach to coaching focuses on her clients’ personal ambitions, goals and unique strengths. Success is defined by the client, and guided by the coach. “Coaching, to me, is about finding what works or connects for each person as an individual,” says Jennifer, “and helping the client uncover, develop and utilize his or her inner strength to achieve personal success.”
Jennifer received a B.A. of Liberal Arts from Portland State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marylhurst University. She has received coach training from the renowned Coaches Training Institute and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). Her professional experience ranges from small start-up organizations to an International Powerhouse, General Electric.
Jennifer utilizes her Six Sigma Green Belt training and project management skills to streamline business practices and create strategic planning tools for small business consulting. Her specialty services include: Sustainable Leadership training, employee retention/enthusiasm workshops, keynote addresses, small business consulting, team building immersions, program development, teen advocacy programs, and coaching. In 2008, her leadership presentations were featured at: the Democratic National Convention, the Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women, and the Massachusetts Governor’s Conference for Women.
Growing up Jennifer participated in ballet, gymnastics, and track. Today, she enjoys golfing, exploring Portland on her bike, and playing with her French Bulldog, Baxter. Her motto is:“If You Work Hard And Save Your Money, You Can Have Anything You Want” - Jim Davidson

Career Services
Lori Rush is the director of Career Services. Lori has more than 25 years of professional experience in employee recruiting, customer service training, human resources, marketing, operations and management. Lori was a corporate recruiter for the Northwest Region of J.C. Penney for 20 years. She worked as the director of marketing and operations at Custom Decorators, a medium-sized, privately held company for five years. Most recently she was an agency recruiter for Momentum Management Resources. Her experience, skills, and abilities have assisted her to place hundreds of people in new careers that are congruent with their passions and goals. Lori’s experience with career transitions and coaching makes her the perfect fit for Reality Check Coaching.
Lori understands the focus, drive, and dedication necessary to secure a career, especially during a slow economic growth period. In August 2001, her position was eliminated after 20 years in upper management at J.C. Penney. She utilized knowledge and skills from her role as a corporate recruiter to secure a new job as an agency recruiter. She has identified critical steps in the job search process and teaches clients current techniques using tools such as resume writing, cover letters, and networking. She also advocates the importance of utilizing online resources and instructs clients how to use social networking resources such as Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter.
Lori earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University. She is active in the Portland Human Resources Management Association. Lori is a member of the Executive Committee for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and has been an active volunteer for 15 years. Lori is passionate about helping people and also passionate about the Oregon State Beavers. Lori has an active social life and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and the outdoors.
